Little Horses, Rich in Joy
Little Horses, Rich in Joy
The Joy of a Life Well Lived.
These are not horses racing toward success.
They have already done the running.
Four delightfully chubby little Liuli horses come together in a celebration of something we sometimes forget after years of moving forward — the simple pleasure of enjoying what we have worked so hard to create.
There is no finish line waiting for them today. No race to win. No reason to hurry.
They can sit in the sunshine. Watch the rain. Stay beside a cup of tea. Spend an afternoon doing absolutely nothing important.
And perhaps that is the point.
I like a gentle life. I like a little romance. I like stopping when I feel like stopping, looking around when something catches my eye, and leaving a little room in the day for absolutely nothing at all.
Not because there is nothing left to pursue, but because a life well lived should contain more than pursuit.
Sometimes the reward for all that running is finally realizing that you are allowed to stop.
I've done the running. Now I'm enjoying the view.
FOUR LITTLE HORSES · FOUR WAYS TO ENJOY LIFE
Rose Pink · A Little Romance
Tender, playful and delightfully unbothered. She likes softness, beautiful things and days with nowhere urgent to go. She has worked hard enough. Today, she would rather enjoy herself.
Emerald Green · A Little Life Still Growing
Resting, but never standing still. Green carries curiosity, vitality and the quiet pleasure of knowing that even while we enjoy what we have achieved, life can still surprise us with something new.
Pearl White · A Little Peace
Nothing to prove. Nothing missing. A quieter kind of abundance comes from being able to say: what I have is enough, and who I am is enough.
Golden Amber · A Little Harvest
Warm, content and quietly prosperous. Golden Amber looks back at the road already traveled and seems to say: look how far we have come. Perhaps today, success can simply sit beside us while we enjoy a cup of tea.
A Little Love. A Little Life. A Little Peace. A Little Luck.
And together — a life rich in joy.
SMALL ART · A PLACE OF ITS OWN
Not every piece of art needs a grand room.
These little horses are made for the smaller places where everyday life actually happens — a writing desk, bookshelf, bedside table, tea setting, reading corner, entrance console or a favorite little space that simply needs something joyful.
For interior designers, their compact sculptural form and distinct colors make them especially versatile for layered styling in residential interiors, boutique hotels, hospitality spaces, offices, reception areas, shelving displays and curated decorative arrangements.
One little horse may become a quiet companion. Two can create a playful conversation. All four together tell a fuller story of color, character and a life enjoyed on one's own terms.
Not every treasure needs to be grand.
Sometimes the smallest things carry the most joy.
THE ART OF LIULI
Created through an intricate lost-wax casting process, each piece begins with its own mold. After the wax is removed and the Liuli undergoes high-temperature forming, the outer mold must be broken away before the piece can be carefully refined, ground, and polished.
One mold. One piece.
COLORS WITHIN THE LIULI
The colors are not painted onto the finished surface.
They are formed within the Liuli during the high-temperature process, becoming part of the material itself. As light passes through different colors and depths of Liuli, subtle variations in transparency and tone reveal the rounded forms, playful details and individual character of each little horse.
Because of this process, small variations may appear from piece to piece. Subtle natural bubbles and gentle flowing patterns may also appear within the Liuli. These are characteristic of the making process and contribute to the individual character of each piece, rather than being considered defects.
THE LUXURY OF NOT HURRYING
There comes a time when happiness no longer needs to look like running faster.
It may look like sleeping a little longer. Watching the rain. Choosing something simply because it makes you smile. Sitting beside someone you love. Or spending an afternoon with absolutely nowhere you need to be.
That is not laziness.
That is the quiet confidence of knowing you have earned the right to enjoy your own life.
So let the little horse rest.
Let it be a little round, a little playful, a little romantic and completely pleased with itself.
After all, life was never meant to be one endless race.
Make room for the little things that make you smile.
A Little Horse. A Little Luck. A Lot of Joy.
