Twelve Flower Goddesses · A Cup of Romance for Every Season
Twelve months. Twelve flowers. Twelve remarkable women.
Each carries a story of beauty, wisdom, courage, and grace. The Twelve Flower Goddesses Collection brings the stories of remarkable women from Chinese history and culture into twelve sculptural Liuli cups inspired by the flowers of the seasons.
The flowers are more than decoration, and the women are more than names — each piece reflects a character, a life, and a different way of blooming.
FOR DESIGNERS
The Twelve Flower Goddesses Collection offers a series of sculptural Liuli accents for residential, hospitality, and curated interior spaces. Individually, each cup can become a refined focal point; together, the twelve pieces create a layered collection of color, form, season, and story.
Suitable for tea rooms, reading corners, private studies, dining spaces, console tables, entry displays, display cabinetry, hospitality suites, hotel interiors, and gallery settings. The translucent floral forms respond especially beautifully to natural or ambient light, pairing naturally with wood, stone, glass, and restrained neutral materials.
THE ART OF LIULI
Yet the beauty and value of a Twelve Flower Goddesses Liuli cup lie not only in the story it carries, but also in the extraordinary way it is made.
Each piece is created through an intricate lost-wax casting process. The form begins with a wax model, around which a mold is created. After the wax is removed and the Liuli undergoes its high-temperature forming process, the outer mold must be broken away to reveal the finished piece.
One mold. One piece.
Even after the mold is broken away, the work is not finished. Each piece must still be carefully refined, ground, and polished, allowing the sculptural layers of the petals, the graceful lines of the cup, and the luminous character of the Liuli to fully emerge.
The colors are not painted onto the finished surface.
They are formed within the Liuli during the high-temperature process, becoming part of the material itself rather than a surface decoration. As light passes through different colors and depths of Liuli, variations in transparency, tone, and the delicate layers of the petals naturally come to life.
Because of this process, small variations may appear from piece to piece. Subtle natural bubbles and gentle flowing patterns may also appear within the Liuli. These are characteristic of the making process and contribute to the individual character of each piece, rather than being considered defects.
TWELVE FLOWERS · TWELVE STORIES
When light passes through the Liuli petals and the fragrance of tea or freshly brewed coffee begins to rise, the cup becomes more than an everyday object. It brings together flower, light, fragrance, craftsmanship, and the story of a remarkable woman in one quiet moment.
Perhaps it is morning tea beside a window. Perhaps an afternoon with a favorite book. Or simply a few peaceful minutes at the end of a long day.
Twelve flowers, each with its own character. Twelve women, each with her own story. And perhaps, as we hold the cup in our own hands, we may discover something of ourselves in them too — softness, courage, wisdom, resilience, or the quiet confidence to bloom in our own way.
Twelve months. Twelve flowers. Twelve women. Twelve stories to carry with us.
Hold a flower, remember a story.
