June Pomegranate Blossom · Hongfu Nü
June arrives with the pomegranate blossom — vivid, radiant, and full of life.
In Chinese literary legend, Hongfu Nü is remembered as a woman with the courage to recognize possibility and the confidence to choose her own path.
In the celebrated tale of The Curly-Bearded Guest, she encounters the young Li Jing while serving in the household of the powerful Yang Su. While others simply watch, she sees something in him. She later leaves the life chosen for her and follows a future she has chosen for herself.
That spirit makes the pomegranate blossom feel especially fitting for her.
Its color is warm and expressive, but its beauty is more than appearance. It carries a sense of vitality, courage, and movement — the feeling of a woman who does not simply wait for life to decide what comes next.
In this sculptural Liuli wine vessel, coral-red petals open around a luminous petite cup, touched with fresh green and a jewel-like pomegranate detail at its heart. As light passes through the translucent Liuli, the flower becomes warmer, richer, and more alive.
Pour in a little wine, and the mood changes again.
A clear spirit keeps the blossom bright and crystalline. A pale golden wine adds warmth. A rosé or deeper pour brings out the richness of the coral-red petals — different colors creating different moments within the same flower.
Perhaps courage does not always arrive with noise.
Sometimes it begins with simply knowing what you see, knowing what you want, and having the confidence to take the next step.
For courage, for choice, and for the freedom to follow a path of your own.
FOR DESIGNERS & INTERIOR STYLING
With its coral-red and fresh green Liuli and sculptural pomegranate blossom form, this piece brings a vibrant yet refined presence to residential, hospitality, and curated interior spaces. Its petite scale makes it especially suitable for a bar cart, dining setting, console, bedside table, bookshelf, reading space, hotel interior, hospitality suite, gallery setting, or decorative display.
Natural or ambient light passing through the translucent Liuli reveals subtle shifts of coral red, fresh green, warmth, and depth across the layered petals. Its expressive palette pairs naturally with wood, stone, glass, and restrained neutral materials, allowing the piece to move gracefully between functional wine vessel and sculptural decorative object.
THE ART OF LIULI
Created through an intricate lost-wax casting process, each piece begins with its own mold. After the wax is removed and the Liuli undergoes high-temperature forming, the outer mold must be broken away before the piece can be carefully refined, ground, and polished.
One mold. One piece.
COLORS WITHIN THE LIULI
The colors are not painted onto the finished surface.
They are formed within the Liuli during the high-temperature process, becoming part of the material itself. As light passes through different colors and depths of Liuli, subtle variations in transparency and tone reveal the sculptural layers of the pomegranate blossom petals.
When wine or a favorite spirit is poured into the petite cup, another layer of color enters the composition. A clear spirit keeps the blossom bright and crystalline, while a pale golden wine, rosé, or deeper-toned pour can bring new warmth, richness, and depth to the coral-red Liuli.
Because of this process, small variations may appear from piece to piece. Subtle natural bubbles and gentle flowing patterns may also appear within the Liuli. These are characteristic of the making process and contribute to the individual character of each piece, rather than being considered defects.
A LITTLE RITUAL OF YOUR OWN
Pour a little wine. Let the light pass through the flower. Sit with a book, listen to music, share a quiet conversation, or simply enjoy a few unhurried minutes of your own.
The vessel may hold a drink, but the moment it creates can hold something more — a pause, a little beauty, and the freedom to enjoy a moment entirely on your own terms.
A blossom for the eyes. A little wine for the soul.
